Overview

**Meraki (Part of NavGurukul):** An ed-tech platform for Underprivileged students (both residential gurukul and remote learners) to learn a pre-university skill / make them job-ready. This is accomplished by teaching courses in various tracks such as Python, English, Typing via a mobile app (and later website) developed by NavGurukul.

Vision: Meraki’s ****vision is to build and sustain an android application, focused on making programming and digital skills like typing and English accessible to learners from different communities. This will be done via a smartphone, and working to create direct job opportunities or admissions to aspirational training programs. Meraki’s focus area is young women and girls, given the dismal representation of the women in the IT Sector.

Goal: Meraki will work towards providing learning opportunities that are rooted in employability. While we will be focusing on the learning outcomes, we will also be working on supporting our students to use them in navigating their career and life choices.

Target (April'21 - March'22) - 1 lakh learners, 500 jobs + 500 aspirational training (making them capable for higher education enrolment, scholarship option)
